David is walking!!!!

And "talking" and climbing...

David started pushing things around while he walked behind a while back, but just this week he began taking a few steps between two people or things. He is so proud of himself! I plan to get a video soon. He claps for himself every time he does it. He is also using some babble that I actually understand, he says, "BU!" whenever he sees Buzz and wants to pet him. He said, "BOO BEA" when I was bring him blueberries the other day, and "Yo Yo" after I said yogurt while I was feeding it to him.

Andrea was such a good climber at like 8 months, I kind of thought that milestone just went along with cruising. When David couldn't climb that early I was almost worried about it, until I talked to some friends and remembered how shocked people were that my 13 month old would climb to the top of playground equipment with ease. Then, of course, she went down the slide head first, and since she always did things head first I just sat at the bottom and watched, clapping for her! The gaurds on the high platforms were very good and she never went up more than 3 steps at a time without me behind her, so don't think I am a careless mom! Nevertheless, I did get lots of funny looks at playgrounds during that time! I tell you this because now I definitely understand the suprised looks on other parents faces! If I had had David first, I would have not understood how a 13-14 month old could climb to the top of anything by themself! He seems so little! He can climb now, but still not very well. He doesn't enjoy playgrounds yet the way Andrea did by this time. Soon enough!

The family all together!

When we went to visit Michael's family at the end of April we had a great time! Vera Bradley Outlet Sale, and being able to see lots of family and a great friend from Evansville made the 10 hour trip worthwhile. Here are some pictures of Michael's mom's side of the family all together and pictures of Michael's whole immediate family. This only happens about once a year that we are all together and sometimes not even that often. We have to make sure to get pictures when it does! I love the pictures of the cousins together! We get to see them again soon and we can't wait!

Meg and Zeb

One of my best friends from MS/HS that I had lost touch with came to our HS reunion last month. We had discussed getting together again and they came this weekend to spend the weekend with us. Meg and I had a ball reminiscing and getting to know each other as we are today. I think we will be great friends for the rest of our lives and I hope we never lose touch again. Over the weekend we talked, laughed, ate some great food, watched "Slum dog Millionaire" (GREAT movie!), and went to a park in greenville to meet up with her sister who lives in the area with her two girls. I was terrible again and never took out my camera, but Zeb got some great shots at the park. You can see Meg and I chatting in the background in a few of these...

Andrea's party

SESAME STREET!!!!! Andrea had a great time at her Sesome Street party. She had friends and family surrounding her as she celebrated the day away! We had games and cake and all the traditional party stuff. I don't think the day could have been any better. We missed those who couldn't make it!

Happy Birthday David!!!!

My sweet little baby boy is ONE today! I can't believe how fast this year has gone by. He has become a special part of our family, and I can't imagine our lives without him. David smiles and laughs so much, he is a happy baby! We had his birthday party on saturday and had Andrea's in the afternoon since they are so close together. They had a blast! Then, on sunday, we joined the church and David was christened. He did such a good job. He winced a little when the water went on his head, but he seemed very content to be the center of attention while the congregation sang "David, David, God Claims You". What a sweet day!

Today we went to the zoo and then out to eat with Daddy and all of the grandparents. He loved the zoo! I will post pictures of that soon, but for now here is his party and the Baptism...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDREA!

Ok, so I am almost a week late, but here is what we did on her birthday. She had a great day! It is crazy that she is 3 already, but I don't think I can bear to say my baby is four, so hopefully this year won't fly by as fast! Yeah, right! Adri came and joined us at Chuck E Cheese to play with Andrea as an extra suprise! Adri is Andrea's best friend and you can just tell how much she loves her! They have so much fun together!

Playing outside- spring-like weather!

I took the slide outside for the birthday party later this month, and they had a great time playing on it because it was so warm outside this past weekend! Andrea is turning THREE tomorrow and I just can't believe it! She has become such a little person this year! She tells me everything she is thinking and always knows what she wants and exactly how to say it. She has her prayers at night memorized as well as many books and songs. I think she has finally decided to potty train this week! I have not changed my techniques much, but this week she decided to actually do it! She is doing a great job, not many accidents! Keep your fingers crossed! She is so excited about turing three, and I think she has finally got it into her head that she needs to do this to become a BIG GIRL!

Church Basketball!

Michael has been playing basketball, and of course Andrea loves watching and David loves it too! His team has not lost yet! They have a game tonight and if they win, another one tomorrow. They are in the play-offs! Go TRUMC!

My college roomie...

Jami and her baby girl (and her sister :)) came to visit us last saturday. We had so much fun watching our babies play. Her baby girl is only 4 days older than David. I can't believe how much has changed, and yet still the same since college. I wish she lived closer so we could get together more often!

Ethan's Birthday Party

We went up to TN for my cousin's baby's fifth birthday... I can't believe he's five already! We had a great time, I hope Jen is able to find some time to look at these pics, cause I got some good ones! If you want any of these, let me know Jen!
