Happy Birthday to my Baby Girl!
Andrea is 2 today! I cannot believe it. As I am nearing the birth of my 2nd baby, I can't help but think about that tiny precious infant I brought home. She has grown so much in the past year, into a beautiful little girl. She has learned how to do so many things! She can follow instructions, brush her teeth, run, attempt to jump, navigate stairs upright by herself, tell us about her day, and sing many songs. She loves to be outside running around the yard with the dogs. Anyone who will sing with her is her new best friend. Her favorite songs are "Itsy Bitsy Spider", "BINGO", "Firetruck", "The Wheels on the Bus", and anything "Doodlebops". She loves doing the motions and filling in blanks where you pause to let her. She recognizes many characters like Pooh, Tigger, Mick Mouse, Moe, Deedee, Rooney, Dora, and Chuck E Cheese. She learns so much every day.
Her experience at Daycare since Christmas has been exciting for her. She tells us how funny her friend Parker is and how NeeNee talks to her. One of the ladies loves to play with her hair and she always has a cute new doo when she comes home. She talks about eating tacos and french fries everyday, but I think that is because that is what she had the first time she went. The ladies at the Daycare think she has a fun personality and is beautiful, to which GrandDeb always responds, "we know :)".
So, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" Andrea! Your mommy and Daddy can't wait to see how much you will grow and learn this year and how you will do as a BIG Sister! I know you will do great! We have a lot to accomplish- Potty Training, Paci removal, MOVING to a new house, and adjusting to our new addition. We will make it through as a family.

Our house will be finished in 5 weeks!
Here are some pictures with the drywall and the first coat of paint as well as an outside picture of the siding. As of today, we have the cabinets in, the painting is complete, the interior doors are all installed, and the lights are all in! Everyone who came this past weekend said that they liked it... I can't wait till our little family is all moved in.
THE BIG PARTY!

Andrea had her two year old birthday this past Saturday at Chuck E Cheese with 26 of her favorite people! She had more fun than I could have anticipated. We went pretty early, so while she was running around she basically knew everyone she encountered. She absolutely loved all of the DOODLEBOPS stuff. She got some new books, DVD's, and even their instruments! Aunt Debbie had made sweatshirts and bags with the Doodlebops theme, so basically she was in a Doodlebops world the whole day! She loves to sing and dance, so I think that is why she likes them so much.

Andrea is turning 2!!!
Andrea is having her brithday party this weekend, even though her birthday isn't till the middle of the next week. We have already gotten her 2-yr-old pictures made and Aunt Debbie created a wonderful outfit for her party! She LOVES the DOOODLEBOPS, and this dress looks like Dee Dee Doodle's dress that she wears on the show. Andrea was so excited to put it on, she pranced around the house waiting for us to tell her how cute she looked :) Her party will have a DOODLEBOPS theme and she will love it!

Update
Well, for those of you who don't know...
We are expecting a baby boy at the end of March. I am scheduling a repeat C-section a little before my due date. I am teaching right now, and it has been rough with a 2-yr old and being pregnant. On the bright side, they are engineering classes in a high school, so it has been really neat to see how high school students deal with engineering problems. The ones who a really interested in being engineers are very fun to teach! I have enjoyed learning about new technologies in the engineering world.
We have moved back home, Michael has a job, and as you can see we are building a house! We are very excited about the house and it is coming along quickly. In the past 2 weeks they have put on the roof, shingles, the front door, the garage floor, the back deck, electrical systems, the fire place with gas lines, and insulation. I think the next step is the drywall and then it will definitly start feeling more like a house. It won't be finished before the baby comes, but we are hoping that it won't be too long after that we will get to move in. Living with the parents is fine, but I want my stuff, and I am an organization freak and I have really felt kind of all over the place lately.
I bought tickets for the Vera Bradley Outlet Sale in Fort Wayne on April 30th yesterday! If anyone needs anything let me know! I am hoping I am healed enough from my Csect and the baby is a good traveler!
