Boo in the Zoo!

This afternoon we went to Boo in the Zoo at the Greenville Zoo. We went with our little playgroup. The girls had a great time strolling and getting yummy treats! David just kind of hung out... maybe next year he will be more into it! This year Andrea was much more involved, she walked the whole way at a pretty good pace and opened up her bag eagerly! She was so excited to be Dee Dee Doodle. Aunt Debbie made this costume for her birthday, and I added to it so she could really get into character! I bought the boots and tights, made the hairpiece, and painted her face. So much fun!

Clemson Gear

Ready to watch the football game! Unfortunately there has not been too much to cheer for this year :( Hopefully we can beat the Cocks and win a few more games with the new coach...

Family Day at GE

We went to Michael's work on Saturday where they had food and tons of fun stuff for Andrea to do! We had a blast! Andrea rode on the Train, the Giant Strawberry, the Cars, and the Hot Air Balloons (3 times, twice with strangers).

Tennessee

We ventured to Tennessee last week. We hung out with Jennifer and her babies quite a bit! We even all piled into the van to go to the mall to play at the playground and eat. I can't believe I didn't get a picture of all 5 carseats installed in the Oddysey, it was crazy! On the way back, Jen and I laughed because this is what we heard coming from the back... "No Efan!", "She's talking during Ninga Turtles", "He's covewing my mouf", and so on and so on... It was hilarious! We helped babysit Corey, Kari, and Ethan while Jen was at work, and Addison and CG while Matt and Candace were away for a bit. Andrea loved every minute! I can't believe I didn't get any good pictures of Corey, he was almost walking by himself (he did take a few steps) and into everything, so cute! He also kept saying, "moon", meaning that he wanted to be outside where the moon is... he is an outdoor lover like his daddy already! It is such a blessing to see Jen's premie twins doing so well! Kari gave me a few hugs and can eat her puffs all by herself. She also says a few very clear words! She'll get to all of that walking stuff sooner or later!

We spent the night with Mammaw, then Nana and Daddybob, and had a great visit with all of Andrea and David's great grandparents. We ended the trip by going to Knoxville to a really neat consignment sale with Aunt Debbie. I found lots of great deals along with David's halloween costume!
We are going back up to TN for Halloween, it will be fun to see all of the kids dressed up together! Hopefully we will get some good pictures!

HAIRCUT!

Well, it's done. I had to do it. I was afraid he would hate me in 16 years if I took too many more pictures with his crazy hair. Here are some pictures of the event... Andrea got her bangs trimmed as well.

Life's sweetest moments...

I am blogging right now because my family is asleep... yes, I took these pictures a few minutes ago...

Congrats Ryan and Jane!

Ryan and Jane just had their baby girl! We are so excited! Now Andrea and David have their first FIRST cousin! YAY!!!! We can't wait to meet her and see lots of pictures! These pictures are from a while back, when we went down to Sarasota. I don't think I posted these, they are from Jane's baby shower that we went to while we were down there.

David... his fifth month

David is a mover! He loves to roll around, like I said earlier. I caught him rolling around, talking and playing with his toes earlier today. He loves to push up from his belly and look around. I am so blessed to be able to experience a growing baby twice in my life. Andrea was a joy to watch as she explored her fascinating new world, and David is no different. He goes about things a little different than Andrea... we will have two totally different kids, that is for sure! On a different note... his hair keeps getting thinner and thinner on top. Soon he will be all blond I think! I believe I will have to go take him to get it shaped up though...

more blue ridge pictures

Here are some of the "activities" and us just hanging out...

Ridind Mike's "toy", shooting guns, and even though I don't have the pictures yet, we did play games and throw frisbee and watched the FOUR dogs play! Check out the quarter... First Danny shot it for Dad, then Mike shot it, then Michael said it would be cool if they made a triangle... then Dad shot it and made it the cool cousin quarter... Boys and their toys, never grow up!

Blue Ridge GA

We haven't had a "reunion" with my DaddyBob's siblings and family since, well, ever... that I can remember. We don't get to see his sister and her family much due to the fact that they live on the southern tip of FL, gulfside. We would get to see them on rare occasions when we were little, and those were a treat! His younger brother's family, well, I don't think we ever really got to see them much... such a shame. They even live closer... in GA!

All that changed in one glorious weekend! We had a very impromptu reunion this past weekend. It was much better than a typical "reunion" though... we stayed the whole weekend, absolutely loved catching up with each other and had a blast just being together and hanging out. You would think we all got together regularly the way we all got along! We missed the few who couldn't make it tremendously. We are really hoping to make this an every year thing... so those who didn't make it this year may be able to make it in the future.

Dad's (first) cousins were all so hospitable, they made YUMMY food, and had some fun activities. Andrea and David loved all of the attention, of course, and hopefully next year will have some playmates that I got to hear so much about this year!

Let's start out with some traditional reunion shots...

<--- the cousins

<--- the siblings Oh my... I just noticed something really crazy... the cousins are standing in the "correct" order, lined up like their parents... weird! First DaddyBob's, then Annie's (no Mitch :( ), then Bill's kids...

Us...

So I haven't had many posts of what Michael and I have been up to... we went to one of my best friend's wedding last weekend, and left the babies at home. This past weekend we all went to the mountains in Blue Ridge, GA to catch up with family members we hadn't seen in quite sometime! I will post those pics later, but for now, here are some wedding pictures courtesy of Sabrina...
